For the second time in a week, Hannawa was toned out for mutual aid to West Potsdam. House fire on county Rt 35 smoke showing. Hannawa set up a draft with E-69 on the French road and Tanker 120 to the scene .Quick response by Potsdam to put the fire out. Fire under investigation by Fire investigators and law enforcement.... Hannawa responded to a grass fire at 5644 Rt 56 at 3:45pm. Firefighters had it knock down within 10 minutes. Colton rescue on scene and couple Pierrepont fireman. Hannawa back in service 20 minutes later. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Department toned out at 9:31pm for MVA at the intersection of Highway 56 and County Rt 59. The driver ended up driving her car to the S curve where she lost control. Law enforcement was on scene and check out by Parishville rescue and released back to law enforcement. Hannawa was back in service at 10:25pm.... (Full Story & Photos)
