As the 19th anniversary of 9-11 approaches take a moment and reflect on that terrible day. Take time to say a little pray for the firemen, police officers and civilians that were lost. 4 members were in Somerset ,PA. Picking up our new pumper that afternoon. They got back late that night but were up early on 9/11 to head to the station. As we watch what was unfolding on TV. We all looked at each other and said we were just in Somerset. We all
Knew if we were still there we would of gave a helping hand that day without hesitation. The department also owns a boat that helped get civilians out of danger in NYC to NJ.
