Barn Fire

Hannawa was toned out at 10:20 in the morning for a fire. Pierrepont Fire called for all equipment with pumper setting up draft site and tanker to the scene. With fire contained to the middle of the barn but high risk of spreading fast through out the barn. Firefighters started pulling hay out of the barn that was smoldering. With high temperatures in the barn exceeding 200 degrees mutual aid was called in from all over the county with more than 25 departments activated through out the day. All units were back in service around 9:30 that night.
